DEDICATION 2008-2009
On August 4, 2008, my uncle, Nicola Rescigno, passed away. He was many things to me: a role model, a surrogate father for the time I studied in Italy, a teacher, a colleague, and a friend. He was a person of style and taste both in his music and in his personal life. Above all, he was an example of a musician dedicated to the highest standards and a ceaseless warrior for those standards. I would like to dedicate this coming season to his memory as I have tried to emulate his care and devotion to the loftiest kind of musical art throughout my entire career. Joseph Rescigno
