On the left is a pencil sketch that Maestro Rescigno spontaneously knocked off one day in 1993 when Mr. Bear was still very young but emerging from kittenhood.

Below is a pastel depicting the view from the window of Mr. Bear’s Montreal apartment. He is contemplating the eerie beauty in the wake of a big ice storm in early 1998.
